Eden Plan uses regenerative agriculture practices to grow nutrient-dense food while protecting and restoring the land. Across two greenhouses and two acres of orchard, we focus on soil health as the foundation of long-term food security. We use this food to prepare a daily vegan lunch, and to contribute to One Ohana community outreach 2x a month.
Food security is more than access to calories—it is access to nutritious, non-depleted food that supports physical health and long-term well-being. By building living soil rich in nutrients, we produce food that is more resilient, nourishing, and sustainable than conventional methods.
Unlike monocropping and non-organic systems that rely on chemical inputs and degrade soil over time, regenerative agriculture improves soil fertility, increases biodiversity, and reduces environmental strain. This approach allows us to grow food consistently, adapt to changing conditions, and steward the land responsibly for future generations. It means that the Hawaiian value, Malama 'Aina (care of the land) is in the fabric of what we do daily.
